About Me

Peri Abel, LMFT

It was as much as she could do, lying down on one side, to look through into the garden with one eye.

About Soulutions Therapy

Soulful and practical, my work with clients integrates a depth perspective with other theories and approaches such as evidenced based therapies, neuroscience/neurobiology, somatic work, and developmental psychology.

I approach therapy from a hopeful perspective believing in the resiliency and capacity of humans to overcome obstacles and transmute suffering. Therapy can open up new possibilities and options leading to a more fulfilling life. You may be struggling with lack of confidence; unconscious, dysfunctional behavior and belief patterns; experiencing artistic or creative blocks; striving for a sense of purpose and meaning in life; dealing with relationship issues; working through grief and loss; making a career change, or even dealing with clutter challenges. I work with clients to co-create a treatment plan that will best address and support each client’s unique needs and goals.

Some areas of focus include: process addictions, co-dependency, relationship issues, narcissistic abuse, family dysfunction, self-esteem, sibling conflicts, career transitions, creative blocks, spiritual development, individuation, somatic issues, developmental trauma, and support for those in 12-step programs

Feel free to contact me for an initial consultation to see how we might work together.
